More Pupils Enjoy Learning Through Irish

An increasing number of learners are educated through the medium of Irish, with 6,184 pupils benefiting from an immersion-specific learning environment where they develop well their cognitive and bi-literacy skills and achieve good or better standards. They have a good understanding and converse confidently in Irish and English, with developing fluency and accuracy in both, as they progress through the Irish-medium sector.
